Topic: Beginning again and again
In life, we often encounter the need to start anew: a new academic year, a new job, or meeting someone new. This also applies when we resume an activity after a period of inactivity, such as returning to a sport. There are parallels between sports and the spiritual life: in both, we can become weary, and we need persistence, consistency, and determination not to give up, even if we stumble. As St. Josemaria said, "Our interior life consists in beginning again and again each day." The scene of the disciples at Emmaus (Luke 24) illustrates that we all need light, advice, and encouragement to persevere on our journey toward the Lord.

What is a Recollection?
A recollection is a time set aside for you contemplate your life in God's presence.
We organise them monthly to give you that spiritual boost you need to keep you going!
Although we might spend time in prayer each day, a recollection is a time to withdraw a couple of hours from the noise and cares of this life in order to spend some quality time in conversation with God guided by 30 minutes meditation in front of the Blessed Sacrament, a talk on an aspect of the Catholic faith and time to avail of the Sacrament of Confession if one so wishes.
