Topic: Contemplatives in the Middle of the World

To be contemplative means being with God constantly: at work, at play, in illness, and in good health. It is a gift that allows us to remain in God's presence throughout the day. During the Transfiguration, God instructed us: "Listen to Him." By listening to Jesus in prayer, we learn to find Him in everything we do each day.

What is a Recollection?

A recollection is a time set aside for you contemplate your life in God's presence.

We organise them monthly to give you that spiritual boost you need to keep you going!

Although we might spend time in prayer each day, a recollection is a time to withdraw a couple of hours from the noise and cares of this life in order to spend some quality time in conversation with God guided by 30 minutes meditation in front of the Blessed Sacrament, a talk on an aspect of the Catholic faith and time to avail of the Sacrament of Confession if one so wishes.
